Social Anxiety
Rebuild Confidence In Real Interactions
How Social Anxiety Shows Up
Common patterns include intense fear of judgment, avoidance of conversations or presentations, safety behaviors like rehearsing or overexplaining, and ruminating after interactions. We begin by restoring predictability and safety while teaching skills that lower physiological arousal and shift attention from self monitoring to valued action.
Assessment And Tailored Plan

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps clients identify mind reading, catastrophizing, and perfectionistic rules. We test predictions against real outcomes and replace performance goals with process goals. Skills translate directly to conversations, classes, interviews, and meetings.

Exposure Based Interventions
We design a graded exposure ladder that starts inside the program and extends to real settings. Practice includes initiating small talk, requesting help, disagreeing respectfully, or speaking to groups. Coaching before and feedback after exposures build mastery and reduce avoidance.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT interpersonal effectiveness skills strengthen assertiveness, boundary setting, and self respect. Emotion regulation and distress tolerance reduce the urge to escape or overaccommodate during challenging interactions.

Psychiatric Services
An onsite, board certified psychiatrist leads evaluation and weekly medication management. We discuss options in clear language and coordinate any changes with therapy targets so clients can feel and measure the difference in daily life.

Daily Living Support
Catered meals, transportation, grocery coordination, and life skills coaching remove friction so clients can focus on practice. Structured routines provide repeated opportunities for successful social contact.

Family Education And Aftercare
With consent, families learn how to respond supportively without reinforcing avoidance or reassurance cycles. Before discharge, we finalize step down plans with specific exposure goals, follow up appointments, and relapse prevention strategies.
