Coordinated Services During Residential Care

Advanced Treatments That Strengthen Residential Progress

Some clients benefit from advanced interventions while they continue residential treatment. At Florida Oasis, these services are coordinated in a way that protects structure, maintains safety, and preserves clinical momentum. Rather than stepping out of treatment or interrupting routines, clients receive access to additional therapeutic modalities while staying grounded in the environment that supports their stability.

How Progress Is Measured

We measure improvement using client reported outcomes, symptom tracking tools when clinically appropriate, and functional indicators such as sleep, energy, interpersonal effectiveness, and ability to participate in daily activities. These findings are reviewed by the multidisciplinary team and used to refine the overall plan. Our goal is not only symptom reduction but meaningful changes clients can feel in daily life.

Clinical Oversight That Ensures Safety

Our onsite, board certified psychiatrist evaluates each client before recommending any coordinated service. This includes reviewing indications, weighing risks and benefits, and determining the most clinically appropriate timing. Weekly psychiatric sessions and daily check ins allow the team to track response, monitor side effects, and make thoughtful adjustments. This level of oversight is what allows advanced treatments to be used effectively and safely during residential care.

TMS Coordination

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation can offer meaningful relief for clients with treatment resistant depression or other clinically appropriate conditions. Florida Oasis coordinates scheduling, transportation, communication with the external provider, and integration of the treatment into the weekly structure. Therapists reinforce skills that complement neuromodulation, helping clients translate symptom changes into regulation, motivation, and improved functioning.

ECT Coordination

Electroconvulsive Therapy may be clinically indicated for clients with severe depression, psychosis, or symptoms that have not responded to medication. Our team manages referrals, medical clearances, pre and post procedure needs, transportation, and communication with the ECT provider. We also adjust the treatment schedule to support recovery, monitor cognitive and emotional changes, and ensure clients remain safe and supported throughout the process.

Ketamine or Spravato Coordination

For clients who meet clinical criteria, ketamine infusions or Spravato treatments can accelerate symptom relief. Florida Oasis coordinates all external appointments, observation periods, and transportation. The clinical team prepares clients beforehand and offers integration sessions afterward, helping them apply insights and emotional shifts to coping skills, communication patterns, and daily routines.

Preserving Structure While Adding Support

Advanced treatments work best when the environment is stable. That is why Florida Oasis schedules all coordinated services around groups, therapy sessions, meals, and rest periods. The residential structure reduces stress, prevents isolation, and offers a predictable foundation for processing emotional experiences and practicing new skills.
